Ragoo
Habitat: Rain forest.
Appearance:
Body is 21-24 inches long and its tail is about the same size if not longer than the body.
They have yellow, and reddish brown fur.
Ragoos have an excellent sense of vision due to their large eyes, which is especially important for tree-dwelling species. They also have very versatile and sturdy claws for grasping and climbing.
Morphology:
Ragoo's long ears which can be more than 6 cm long are an adaptation for detecting predators, and small insects. Ragoos are able to curl their tails around branches to hold on. It's large tail, giving Ragoos fantastic balance while swinging from trees.
Reproduction:
The pregnancy of a female is 2 months. The litter size is one offspring a year. The offspring become independent at 10 months and go off on their own. The life expectancy is 6-8 years.
Diet:
Ragoo eats mostly mushrooms, fruits and insects. It also feeds on tree sap.
Predators: Birds, cats and snake like creatures. Ragoo is close to being a threatened species.
